Cabernet Sauvignon ($18.00)(cab-er-nay so-vee-n'yon) Juicy berry flavors, toasty oak and medium tannins make this full bodied, medium-dry wine an excellent choice for the novice as well as the connoisseur. It is quickly becoming the wine of choice for many of our local patrons.

Reserve Cabernet ($28.00)Aged three years in French Oak with a style and elegance reminiscent of the Winery's grand old Cabernet bottling. Opens with a deep dark fruit character with a hint of oak. Great with aged cheddar, venison, ribeye steak, and hearty red sauces. |
Chianti ($14.00)(kee-an-tee) Similar to Cabernet and Merlot, but more complex and long-lived, lively, and full of flavor. Great with Italian food, grilled meats, duck, barbequed ribs, and turkey. |
Gus' Cuvée ($18.00)(coo-vay) Our special blend of Carlos Creek grapes, this medium-sweet red wine is available only here at the winery. Named for the beloved four-legged companion of long time friends of the winery, Randy & Ruth Ann Tronnes, this wine is always in high demand by Carlos Creek customers. |

Reserve Merlot ($28.00)Gentle, dark berry flavors and a whisper of toasted oak will come through in just the first few sips. The gente velvet and smooth "drink me now" appeal will show you why Carlos Creek Winery's Merlot is one of our best nationwide sellers. The Reserve Merlot is different from the regular Merlot in that it has been aged three years for a more appealing taste. |

Port ($38.00)Our port wine is richer, sweeter, heavier, and possesses a higher alcohol content than our other wines. This is caused by the addition of brandy to fortify the wine and halt fermentation before all the sugar is converted to alcohol. Notice the rich coconut and chocolate flavors. Port is commonly served after meals as a dessert wine. Wonderful with Stilton cheeses, it also goes well with fine chocolate.

Russ Edward Private Reserve ($18.00)An expression of our winemaker's skill. This blend of the best from our vineyards produces a wine of uncommon richness, complexity, and concentration. |
Zinfandel ($14.00)(zin-fen-del) Red Zinfandel is an "American classic" wine. The color of a Zin is deep red, bordering on black. With predominant raspberry flavors and a spicy aroma, Zinfandels can be bold and intense as well as light and fruity. It is a spicy, peppery wine, with a hint of fruity flavor. Flavor such as cherry, wild berry and plum with notes of leather and earth are often in the taste range. Zinfandel goes well with typical "American" food: pizza, burgers, etc. It's hearty enough to match up with thick red sauces. |
White Wines
Chardonnay ($14.00)(shar-doh-nay) You may note apple, pear, vanilla, fig, peach, pineapple, melon, citrus, lemon, grapefruit, honey, spice, butterscotch, butter or hazelnut flavors. Chardonnay takes well to oak aging and barrel fermentation. It is easy to manipulate with techniques such as sur lie aging and malolactic fermentation. Our Chardonnay is medium-bodied and delivers a nice, refreshing, fruity flavor, with a hint of toasty oak. |
Chenin Blanc ($14.00)(shen-in blahngk) Chenin Blanc has been described as one of the most versatile grape varietals. This white grape is used to make sparkling wines, dry table wines, dessert wines, and even brandy. Aromas and flavors of apple, pear, melon, vanilla, and honey are most common of Chenin Blanc wines. Its usual crisp and mildly sweet palate makes Chenin Blanc a great pair with salads, sushi, white meats, and spicy dishes. |
Muscat ($14.00)(mus-cat) Also known as Muscat Blanc and Muscat Canelli. With pronounced spice and floral notes, it can also be used for blending. A versatile grape that can turn into anything from Asti Spumante and Muscat de Canelli to a dry wine like Muscat d'Alsace.
Riesling ($14.00)(reece-ling) Perhaps the world's most misunderstood white grape variety, and in our estimation, the world's finest. This luscious, medium-sweet Riesling is crisp and refreshing, with a surprisingly fresh taste and clean finish. Sweeter than the Johannisberg, this wine is also a local favorite.
Rosé ($14.00)(ro-say) Red-skinned grapes are fermented off the skin. Since the skins contain much of the strongly flavored tannin and other compounds, this wine finishes with a vibrant, crisp flavor. Enjoy with grilled halibut, rosemary roasted chicken, picnic fare, or by itself on a warm summer day. |
White Wine with Peach (Peach Chardonnay) ($14.00)100% Chardonnay blended with natural Peach Flavors. A medium-bodied Chardonnay that delivers a nice, refreshing, fruity flavor, with a hint of toasty oak and peach. A perfect compliment to grilled chicken or fish. |
White Zinfandel ($14.00)(zin-fen-del) This wine has a youthful exuberance that is appealing to anyone looking for an uncomplicated wine to accompany a meal. White Zinfandel is a pale-rosé, or blush wine (the American term for Rosé). It is delicious with cream-based sauce and pasta, with fish, pork, and other "lighter" meals. It tends to have light and citrus flavors - orange, vanilla, strawberry, raspberry, and cherry. In addition, new White Zinfandels have fruit juices added to them right before bottling to create flavored versions. |
