Visiting & Tour InformationCarlos Creek Winery is home to one of the largest vineyards and apple orchards in Minnesota. There is no cost for touring and tours are available at 1:00 and 3:00 daily plus at 5:00 on Saturdays. Come and take a tour and sample the fine wines produced right at the winery. Feel free to walk around the grounds and tour the United States' largest permanent maze and and the wine cave. Also enjoy live music during the summer! Group tours are also available. Call 320-846-5443 for booking. ToursTours are offered at 1:00 and 3:00 Sunday through Friday plus at 5:00 on Saturdays. Tours are complimentary and no reservations are required if your group is less than 20 in size. The tour covers our indoor production area and our wine cellar. Our vineyards and orchards are not included in our regular tour but can be arranged in advance for a fee of $10/person with a minimum of 10 people. One week advance registration is required for vineyard/orchard tours. Wine TastingWine tasting is available anytime during our regular business hours. We charge $5.00 for 5 samples and the souvenir tasting glass is yours to keep. Additional samples are available for $1.00. Music and Free WI-FILive musicians play every weekend all year round at Carlos Creek! Memorial Day through Labor Day, live music is offered from 2:00 to 6:00 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Live music continues every Saturday from September through May. Our tasting room is wired for complimentary WI-FI. Artists in the Grande StablesSeveral area artists have shops in our Grande Stables during the summer. Hours are: Fridays & Sundays 2:00-6:00. Saturdays 11:00-6:00. Surrey Bikes, Maze, Croquet, Chess, Dog Sleds & Cross Country SkiingThere's always plenty to do at Carlos Creek Winery. Rent a two-seater Surrey bike for $10. Explore our 3.5 acre maze. Organize a game of croquet or garden chess with our complimentary equipment. And since Winter is a pretty reliable visitor here, we offer amazing tours of our property via Dog Sled for $30/person or use our Dog Sled Trails to tour the property with your cross country skis. FestivalsOur Grape Stomp and Fall Festival is held annually the third weekend of September and our Applefest celebrates the end of the apple harvest and is held the third Saturday of October. Things to Do in AlexandriaWhether you're here on a beautiful afternoon in the summer or a chilly winter day, there's always something to do in beautiful Alexandria! The Runestone Museum, Douglas County Historical Society, AAAA Theater, Theater L'Homme Dieux, Casey's Amusement Park, Erickson's Petting Zoo, Big Splash Indoor Water Park are just a few. Several local groups have been actively involved in stocking 20 Douglas County lakes and their efforts are paying off - Fishing is Great! And Andes Mountain offers great winter skiing.
